Age Distribution by Country
How prop trading search interest distributes across age buckets in each tracked market.
Most regions peak in the 35-44 age group, with some regional variation. Country-level skew is shown below.
About this data
These figures are derived from search-interest demographics (a third-party search-trend analytics provider), which estimate the age breakdown of people searching prop trading terms — not a survey or audit of actual funded trader ages.
Countries with fewer underlying keyword signals may show concentration in just 2–3 age buckets rather than the full spread. Missing buckets are displayed as 0% so every country shares the same axis, but this reflects data sparsity rather than a genuine absence of traders in that age range. Treat all figures as directional estimates.
The 55+ bucket is consistently the smallest across nearly every country, and likely understates actual participation in that age range. Search-interest data captures who searches generic prop trading terms online, which tends to skew younger for a relatively new, internet-native financial product category — older traders with capital may participate via prop firms without searching these broad terms as heavily, or may allocate capital through traditional brokers and advisors instead. The 55+ bucket is also open-ended (no upper age bound) compared to the fixed 10-year width of every other bucket, which independently makes it appear smaller in search-volume terms even before any demographic effect. Treat 55+ figures as a likely floor rather than a precise count.
