PropTradeCenter (PTC) is an independent research and market-intelligence platform focused on the global retail proprietary trading industry. It tracks firms, programs, market activity, industry developments and proprietary indicators to provide a structured view of a fragmented and rapidly changing market.

PTC is not a prop trading firm, broker or investment adviser. Nothing published on PropTradeCenter is financial, investment or trading advice.

Research and editorial governance

PTC research follows a documented workflow rather than informal opinion. In practice this means:

• Structured data collection from firm disclosures, public records, websites, independent data providers, search and web data, and platform information.
• Documented sources recorded against the underlying records so findings can be traced back to evidence.
• Source verification before material public inclusion, with confidence and coverage stated where evidence is partial.
• Model-based estimation where direct observation is unavailable, clearly labelled as an estimate with its methodology published.
• AI-assisted research, extraction, classification and analysis where applicable, used to process and structure source material.
• Human editorial review of material public research and analytical outputs before publication.
• Documented corrections and change process, with material changes recorded in the Change Log.

PTC is a small, focused research operation. We describe our process rather than claim a large analyst team.

Analytical independence

PTC scores, rankings, estimates and research conclusions cannot be purchased and are not adjusted because of sponsorships, advertising, affiliate arrangements or other commercial relationships.

Commercial relationships, if any, are disclosed separately and do not determine analytical outcomes. A commercial relationship does not guarantee inclusion, favourable coverage, or a particular ranking result. Equally, being tracked by PTC is not an endorsement of a firm.

Use of AI

PTC uses AI assistance in parts of its research process — including source gathering, data extraction, classification and analytical support. We disclose this plainly rather than present it as fully manual work.

Material public research and analytical outputs are subject to human review under the PTC editorial workflow, and published research carries an editorial review status.
