PTC Estimates™
Estimated Active Traders™
An active trader is a person trading a live evaluation or funded account with a tracked prop firm in the current period. Counts are people, not accounts, and are modelled — not company-reported.
What goes in
- Disclosed trader counts from firms, used as calibration anchors
- Brand search demand and global search volume
- Market visibility and audience-scale signals
- Review volume as an independent participation signal
- Market Presence™ v2.0 as a bounded modifier only
Limitations
- Covers the tracked market only — not every prop firm in existence
- Firms with weak or fallback-only calibration are excluded from firm-level publication
- Accounts-to-person conversion is an assumption with a documented range
- Industry-level ranges are not published in this release
How to read this
PTC estimates are modelled from public evidence and proprietary methodologies. They are not company-reported figures unless explicitly identified as such.
Estimates cover the Tracked Market — the prop firms PTC actively monitors — and are not a census of every firm in existence. Read the methodology.
